Holiday Greetings from Uncommon Purpose

I’m grateful for the opportunity to share this note with our Uncommon Purpose community, to reflect on the year. You’ve each been an integral part of our first year in an uncommon journey.

Beginnings and reflections

2022 saw us launch multiple products and brands, including our own as Uncommon Purpose. We formed on April 1st, with the goal of building great products and companies that are owned and operated by even better people. Since then, we’ve grown Traction Gather, brought to market Hubbl Diagnostics, Propel Integration Partners, and have two more that will debut in early 2023.

As our community of early adopters, beta program members, and champions, you’ve been instrumental in our company growth and product strategy. Thank you for your time and feedback. It’s been the key to helping us build relevant, valuable, and impact-driven products.

Giving back

When starting Uncommon Purpose, we knew creating positive social change would continue to be important to our people and our community. 2022 gave us the chance to engage with new nonprofits and reignite relationships with some amazing causes. Through our presence at Dreamforce and with the support of our partners, we raised over $35,000 to support nonprofit organizations that help break the cycle of poverty.

As we look toward the New Year, we’re committed to using our voice and business to address inequities and advocate for change. And we want you to be a part of this.

As a start, we’ve chosen three nonprofits that we’d like to donate $20 towards on your behalf:

World Bicycle Relief

World Bicycle Relief is on a mission to empower people and communities through life-changing bicycles, helping people conquer the challenge of distance, achieve independence and thrive.

World Central Kitchen

World Central Kitchen provides meals in response to humanitarian, climate, and community crises by helping devastated communities recover and establish resilient food systems.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America matches young people facing adversity with trained adult mentors in 1-1 or group mentoring programs, helping  them develop into healthy young people better able to deal with and overcome life’s adversities.

A heartfelt thank you for helping us navigate our first year as a new company. We’re so excited for what 2023 has in store and for your continued friendship. I hope this holiday season brings you some time to unplug and be present with your family, friends, and well-being.
